HTC has recently confirmed that they will upgrade the HTC Hero with the new Android 2.1 OS on April 16th, 2010. In case you didn’t know, the HTC Hero features a 3.2-inch touchscreen display with 320 x 480 resolution, a 5MP autofocus camera, HTC’s latest Sense UI, an accelerometer sensor, GPS, WiFi and supports HSDPA connectivity.
